Don't mind as I sit here humming "Just a small town girl, living in a Digital World!" to the tune of "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey. LOL! Literally I don't know how else to explain it other than that! Really just a girl with a passion. A passion for Art, Photography and getting Creative! I am fueled by the process, the joy of transforming a photo or creating graphics from nothing more than scratches on a board and my imagination. It's a passion that I can't explain, it just flows from inside onto screen and print. It is truly a joy for me. I am so blessed to have found such a creative outlet and nothing gives me more pleasure than to share all of it with you.
My love for digital design grew from a scrapbooking base where I grew tired of ordering paper supplies online and waiting forever for stuff to arrive by mail. We had no local scrapbooking stores or even a craft store. Eventually upon one of my many online shopping adventures ;) I ran into a digital layout gallery and was absolutely blown away. The creativity, beauty and realism, it was like a "WOW" and "AHA" moment all at the same time. Immediately I was on a mission to figure out how it was done. Eventually I purchased my first digital camera which came with a trial version of photoshop and well, I was in love. Completely self taught I was overjoyed by the limitless creative possibilities at my fingertips. After a few years of creating layouts I figured I would give my hand a try at design. I entered a contest to sell custom designs at an online digital store and was truly surprised when I Won. That was a very exciting day for me, what joy it was to share my love and passion with others. And well, as they say, the rest is history.
